The Land Rover and Hound “project” is made up of Sam Buckle, a 43 year old freelance cameraman and producer, Gio a rescued Vizsla from Spain and a 2002 Landrover Defender 110 TD5.

Travelling round the UK in between work commitments in order to build up a substantial portfolio of wildlife and adventure film content. The aim being to break into the world of wildlife filming. The only way this can be achieved is by living totally immersed in the outdoors, surrounded by nature.

Sams Corporate and marketing work can be seen on the website for his company “Design and Film Cornwall” , Having spent 25 years filming everything from Surfing in Hawaii  to Michelin star chefs via the ragged cliffs of Cornwall he has gained a very versatile outlook to camerawork. Recent clients included the National Trust which fueled his desire to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a wildlife cameraman.

The recent trip to Scotland has accumulated 3 Terrabytes of footage which will produce 6 x 5 minute episodes to be released online and hopefully gain the interest of BBC wildlife or similar. Mini videos are also constantly being made and released to growing appreciation through instagram where the Landrover and Hound project is gaining a high quality of followers from the worlds of Landrover fans and also the adventure/microadventure scene.
